Get notified of new Putki releases

From Apache Hop 2.20, the bell in the top right of the Hop GUI toolbar collects notifications. Add the Putki release feed once, and every new Putki release appears there.

The feed is public and needs no account. It only announces the version; the release notes and downloads stay on the release pages, where you sign in to forge.putki.io.

Add the feed

  1. Open the Configuration perspective, Notifications tab, and click Add….

  2. Enter a Name, for example Putki releases, and set Type to RSS Feed.

  3. Set Feed URL to

    https://forge.putki.io/putki-hop/marketplace/releases.rss

Leave User name and Password or token empty.

  4. Click OK.

Hop polls the feed in the background. To check it right away, open the notification panel from the bell and click Retry.

What you see

Each release appears as Putki 2026.09.01, for example, with the line Putki 2026.09.01 is available. and a link to its release page for each edition: Basic, Professional, Enterprise. Open the one for your edition and sign in to read the release notes and download the release.

A release is announced whether or not it changes the Putki plugins. Updates to the plugins you have are reported separately, without any setup: see Update notifications.

Without Hop 2.20

Apache Hop 2.19, which Putki 2026.09 is built on, has no notifications. Any RSS reader can follow the same feed URL instead, or check the Putki releases page after signing in.

To turn the feed off later, open the same Notifications tab and clear Enabled on the source, or delete it. See Notifications in the Apache Hop manual for the other options.
